Public meetings scheduled for Reimagine I-10 project

Reimagine I-10 project

The Texas Department of Transportation is conducting a second series of outreach events about the Reimagine I-10 corridor study.

The meetings will go over the project’s progress.

TxDOT is evaluating the I-10 corridor from the New Mexico state line south to FM 3380 -- also known as the Aguilera International Highway. It’s a 4-mile stretch from the Tornillo Port of Entry to I-10.

The public is invited to participate in the outreach events where projected traffic concerns, possible conceptual solutions and public input will be the focus.

The Reimagine I-10 study is organized into four segments:

Northern Gateway: from the New Mexico state line to Executive Center Boulevard.

Downtown: from Executive Center Boulevard to U.S. 54 (Patriot Freeway) .

Airport: from U.S. 54 to Loop 375 (Americas Interchange).

Southern Gateway: from Loop 375 (Americas Interchange) to FM 3380 (Aguilera International Highway).

One event will be held in each segment

1 Tuesday March 6 5 to 7 p.m. EPCC Northwest Campus at 6707 S. Desert Blvd.

2 Wednesday March 7 5 to 7 p.m. Mesita Elementary School Gym at 3307 N. Stanton St.
