Crashes causes major delays on I-10 east; two people injured
EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) —
Two crashes caused major delays on Interstate 10 on Thursday afternoon.
The first crash was reported as a rollover around 12:30 p.m. along the Resler Exit.
People who witnessed that crash site say a semitruck was involved in the collision.
Around 2 p.m., the El Paso Police Department tweeted about a second crash just a few miles away on I-10 east at Redd Road.
That crash forced the closure of all lanes along I-10 east near Redd Road.
Police say two people were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Drivers used Doniphan Drive as an alternate route causing congestion from Sunland Park Drive to Redd Road.
The crash at Redd was cleared just before 5:30 p.m.
The Resler collision was cleared just before 9 p.m.
