Lianna Golden is the weekend anchor at KFOX14 and CBS4.

When she's not at the anchor desk, Golden is a multimedia journalist with a passion for storytelling in her community and beyond.

During her time in El Paso and Las Cruces, Golden has covered a number of a stories, ranging from immigration, to city/county government, crime, accountability, and more.

Golden is originally from the east coast.

She was born and raised on Long Island, New York.

She lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for four years while attending Temple University.

That's where she got her bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and Spanish, which she is fluent in.

During her time at Temple, Golden was a lead reporter and anchor for her university's 30-minute live newscast, Temple Update.

She also interned with WNBC in New York, WCAU in Philadelphia, CBS News, and News 12 Long Island.

Golden wouldn't be where she is today without the training and lessons learned during her undergraduate years.

During her free time in the Borderland, Golden loves to go running, hiking, and swimming.

She also enjoys making friends, trying new foods and practicing her Spanish with people in El Paso.

Back at home in NY, Golden can be found reading a book on Long Island's best beaches.

Golden is ecstatic to be a journalist with this team and to tell the community's stories.
