El Paso champ Jennifer Han co-main event with Ortiz versus Alexander bout

Jennifer Han was honored Monday, September 19 as the city recognizes her on Jennifer Han Day.

El Paso’s world champion Jennifer Han fight has been changed again.

El Paso’s IBF featherweight champ will defend her title against top contender Lizbeth Crespo.

The ten-round showdown between the two former World Welterweight Champions happens Feb. 17 at the Don Haskins Center.

Han will share the spotlight with a welterweight fight between “Vicious” Victor Ortiz and Devon Alexander “The Great.”

Han was originally scheduled to fight Crespo on Dec. 1, but Han suffered a sparring injury that postponed the fight to January 27. Her title defense was rescheduled for a third time so she can join the Ortiz-Alexander card. There will be at least five other fights on the undercard.

Ortiz versus Alexander will be shown on KFOX14.

Las Cruces fighter Austin Trout says he'll be on the card once it's been finalized.

Tickets for the fight are on sale at the UTEP Ticket Center, TicketMaster outlets, online at or by phone at 915-533-9899.
