Handi-Craft is recalling Dr. Brown’s Lovey Pacifier & Teether Holders due to a choking hazard.
The snap can detach from the pacifier’s ribbon, posing a choking hard.
About 590,00 pacifiers are being recalled. The items were sold at Bed Bath & Beyond, H-E-B Grocery, K-Mart, Target, Toys ‘R Us/Babies ‘R Us, Wal-Mart and various stores nationwade and online at Amazon.com from August 2015 to March 2018 for about $10.
Only holders with the following lot codes are included in this recall: RICH0615; RICH0715; RICH0815; RICH1215; RICH0516; RICH0616; RICH0716; RICH1116; RICH1016; RICH0916; RICH1216; RICH0317; RICH0417; RICH0517; RICH0617; RICH0717; RICH0817; RICH0917. The lot codes are printed on the tag attached to the holder. Consumers can confirm lot codes included in the recall at www.drbrownsbaby.com/recall-lovey.
Cameron Company is recalling children’s tents due to a laceration hazard.
The Playtime Pals Pop-Up Hideaway Hut children’s tents were sold exclusively at Home Depot. The company believed the fiberglass rod that supports the tent can break, splinter and become sharp, posing a laceration hazard.
About 84,000 items are being recalled.
The firm received 270 reports of tents breaking, including two reports of bruises and lacerations.
Consumers are advised to stop using the tent and return it to Home Depot for a refund.
Amazon is recalling its AmazonBasics portable power banks due to fire and chemical burn hazards.
The power bank’s battery can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards.
About 260,000 power banks are being recalled.
Amazon received 53 reports of the power banks overhearing, including one report of chemical burns due to contact with battery acid and four reports of property damage.
This recall involves six versions of AmazonBasics’ portable lithium-ion battery chargers/power banks: 16,100 mAh; 10,000 mAh; 5,600 mAh; 2,000 mAh with micro USB cable; 3,000 mAh and 3,000 mAh with USB micro cable. The rubberized or metallic power banks are black and rectangular. They measure about 3 inches long by 1.4 inch high by 0.9 inch wide. The power banks were sold with or without a USB charger cable and a carrying pouch. The AmazonBasics logo is printed on the front of the unit. Product ID number B00LRK8EVO, B00LRK8HJ8, B00LRK8I7O, B00LRK8IV0, B00LRK8JDC or B00ZQ4JQAA is printed on the back of the unit.
Consumers should immediately unplug and stop using the recalled power banks and contact Amazon for instructions on how to return the unit and receive a full refund.
