There's a huge police presence in Orlando as the FBI and Orlando police continue their investigation into the deadly nightclub shooting.

Residents in the city have been seen praying on lawns near Pulse Nightclub.

Signs have also been posted saying "pray" and "peace."

Saturday night was "International Night' at the nightclub. WPEC's Melissa Howell said one witness told her that he'd been sitting at the bar when shots rang out. Another witness told Howell that there were no security checks.

"There were no security checks at the door," Howell said. "[The witness] doesn't remember the last time he was checked to see if he was bringing anything into the club."

The witness also said the club was packed, as it usually is on Saturday nights.

Authorities are beginning to notify victims' families.

More than 30 families have been notified thus far.
