Some people out and about that KFOX14 spoke with were prepared.

"We usually get the coats ready and prepare ourselves to drive safely," said Alex Loya, a resident of west El Paso.

Some folks said they're happy with the change of pace the weather brought to the Sun City.

“It's a good change of pace. I like the cold, so I kind a like being out in this type of weather," said Andres Camacho, a resident of west El Paso.

El Paso County is expected to experience isolated showers and winds throughout Wednesday, according to meteorologist Brad Montgomery.

Around 12 p.m., TxDOT cameras showed a vehicle rolled on its side along U.S. 54 at the I-10 east ramp.
