BBVA Compass Bank on Zaragoza robbed for fourth time in the last year

FBI agents are investigating a a bank robbery at the BBVA Compass Bank at 1610 N. Zaragoza Road.

The bank has been robbed three other times in the last year.

The El Paso Police Department tweeted about the incident just before 3 p.m. Thursday.

The FBI said a man, either Hispanic or African American, walked into the bank armed with a handgun.

He was wearing dark glasses, dark jeans and a white baseball cap. The suspect was last seen leaving the bank on foot.

Investigators have not disclosed the amount of money he may have taken from the bank.
