EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso police are looking into reports of suspicious Halloween candy.
According to El Paso police, the department received two reports from parents who found “foreign objects” when they were sorting through their child’s candy.
Police say the two reports came from sisters who took their children trick-or-treating in two different parts of town.
Investigators are currently looking into their claims.
Police spokesman Enrique Carrillo said the department has not received any other reports of similar incidents.
As always, adults are asked to always examine Halloween candy before children consume it.
