Rams, Patriots fan clubs gather to celebrate the big game
EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14) —
El Paso’s Rams and Patriots fan clubs gathered Sunday to cheer on their teams for Super Bowl LIII.
The El Paso Patriots Club watched at Three Pints Pub in northeast El Paso, and The El Paso Rams Club watched at Fanatics Sports Bar.
The Patriots fan club has been around for eight years, and gathers for every game.
“We have been established since 2011,” El Paso Patriots Club vice president Carla Ramirez said.
The Rams club offered gear and raffles to those in attendance.
“We have raffles and gear here, we are trying to give back to the city of El Paso,” El Paso Rams Club president Zoro Rivera said.
Fans from the Rams Club brought out some of their lucky gear for the team’s first Super Bowl game in 17 years.
“We brought out this hat for the first time in 17 years,” a Rams Club member said. “These are just lucky things that I wear.”
The New England Patriots won their sixth NFL championship title.
The final score was 13-3.
