Our crew saw several officers wearing SWAT gear. They also saw a man in handcuffs being taken into custody.

Alexis Luevanos says he was working on his aunt’s roof when he saw several police cars across the street.

He says he saw several police officers holding guns.

"We saw the cops and they were trying to get the people from the house but no one was there," said Luevanos.

"I got shocked because I saw a dog get shot by a cop," said Luevanos.

Santiago Reyes grew up in this neighborhood. He says the house police are investigating is known to have lots of people roaming around it.

"All I know about this house is I saw people going in and out because they rent,” said Reyes.

The El Paso police department posted a tweet saying, "One subject is taken into custody." Police did not confirm who that person is or why it started in the first place. But neighbors nearby say they hope no one was hurt.

“Hopefully it's nothing too bad and hopefully it doesn't happen again," said Reyes.
