We're a day away from the Aggies' historic bowl game in Arizona.

Some of the players and the head coach participated Thursday in media day.

The players and coach talked about their experiences and what the bowl game means to their program.

Before the press conference, the Aggies took part in a practice at one of the local high schools Thursday morning.

It's been a fun week, and a lot of fans are already in Tuscon.

It feels like a mini Super Bowl week.

During the press conference, NMSU football coach Doug Martin talked about distractions and keeping his team focused on the game.

"The administration has done a fantastic job of getting every bowl gift they can possibly get. They've been spoiled in this thing. We've done that the right way. But there is a game at the end of it, and the coach in me starts to worry about the distractions, and are these guys going to be able to handle that and know there's a game coming into play and up to the level we need to play tomorrow night, because we're playing an outstanding team, but I think our guys have a good focus about them," Martin said.

More team meetings are taking place tonight.

Final walk-through takes place Friday morning.

The game starts Friday afternoon.
