Murder trial starts for Kinfolk bike member

Javier Gonzalez

The murder trial for the Kinfolk MC biker accused of killing a Bandidos leader started Tuesday.

Javier Gonzalez is facing three charges including organized crime and murder.

There was an increased security presence inside the 34th District courtroom of Judge William E. Moody.

During the trial, jurors saw video of the deadly biker brawl that happened in 2017.

Gonzalez is accused of opening fire during the fight, which happened inside the Mulligan's chopped hog bar on George Dieter Drive.

Juan Martinez, 61, who was the president of the Bandidos motorcycle club, was shot several times and later died.
