More than 1,500 new COVID-19 cases reported; 15 additional deaths

El Paso public health officials announced 1,512 new COVID-19 cases including 151 additional delayed cases.

El Paso stands at 72,238 cases. Fifteen additional deaths were reported, raising the death toll to 756.

Officials say a man in his 20s, two males in their 50s, two women in their 50s, a man in his 60s, four men in their 70s, a woman in her 70s, three men in their 80s and a woman in her 90s all had underlying health conditions.

Health officials advised that 39,182 individuals have recovered from COVID-19, there are 31,896 active cases.

As of Saturday, there are 1,091 patients hospitalized, 309 patients remain in the intensive care unit and 201 patients are on ventilators.
