Man attacked by Fort Bliss soldier, 2 men in northeast neighborhood; arrests made
EL PASO, Texas (CBS4) —
Three men are accused of beating and robbing a man last week.
Jamar Duane Belsches, Darius Bell and Fort Bliss soldier Brandon Lee Jackson are facing aggravated burglary charges.
Police investigators said they robbed, beat and threatened a man with a gun on April 26.
The victim allegedly walked past an apartment complex at 4400 Edgar Park Avenue near Hercules Drive in northeast El Paso.
On May 1, police officers arrested 20-year-old Jamar Duane Belsches and 27-year-old Darius Bell at the same parking lot where the robbery happened.
On May 2, 25-year-old Brandon Lee Jackson was placed under arrest in Ft. Bliss, with the help of Ft. Bliss officials.
All three were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
