Man arrested, charged with murder after shooting in northeast El Paso

A man was arrested and charged with murder following a shooting in northeast El Paso on Tuesday morning.

Officers arrested 34-year-oldTristan Crabtree on Friday.

The shooting happened on the10700 Block of Sunstone around 1 a.m.

The victim was identified as 35-year-old David McLeskey.

Security footage captured a vehicle drive by along Sunstone Street and shots fired three times.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired.

When they arrived, they found McLeskey on the ground outside with gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries.

A neighbor who lives in the area said the house where the shooting happened was always noisy.

A warrant was obtained for Crabtree for a charge of Murder.

Crabtree was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a warrant for Murder with a bond of $2,000,000.
