Man accused of DWI crash along El Paso international bridge

A local man was arrested for causing a crash along the Bridge of the Americas on Wednesday, El Paso police said.

Police said Samuel Nava, 43,

was driving a Chevy Tahoe that struck another vehicle.

Nava was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated.

An investigation revealed that Nava had four prior convictions for DWI-related offenses.

He was charged with DWI third or more and booked into the El Paso County Jail. His bonds totaled $30,000.
