In hopes of finding new home, 90 shelter pets taking flight to California

Nearly ninety shelter pets from El Paso Animal Services will take flight to new shelters in California today.

These shelters are in need for more pets to find new homes for in California.

More than 20 dogs and nearly 70 cats will be part of this rescue flight.

This is the first time that Animal Services will transfer cats using an airplane.

This is needed to make space at the Animal Services Center to prepare for upcoming intake during spring and summer seasons.
