It's time to drive through and see the twinkling lights, Nativity scenes and inflatable snowmen.
Here is a list of places you can drive to this holiday season.
Downtown El Paso
Winterfest is running from Dec. 5 to Jan. 3, 2021. San Jacinto Plaza, the Arts Festival Plaza and Paseo de Las Luces are lit festive features, holiday trees and decorations. Visitors can enjoy the festive season by driving through these areas from the safety of their vehicles and following COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
Ascarate Park in El Paso Lower Valley
Lights on the Lake: The annual tradition of holiday lights at Ascarate Park will light the holidays until Wednesday, January 6, 2021. The lights will be displayed daily from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Lights on the Lake will be a drive-thru only event. Visitors will not be allowed to exit their vehicles to walk and view the lights as in the past.
El Paso International Airport in eastside
El Paso International Airport is welcoming visitors and the community to enjoy the holiday decorations. Visitors can drive by or park and take photos. Visitors asked to remain distant from others.
Eastridge in east El Paso
Residents in the Eastridge neighborhood in east El Paso have been decorating their homes with elaborate Christmas displays for years. The neighborhood is located off of McRae Boulevard between Interstate 10 and Montwood Drive.
Canutillo
Families looking to venture out in a safe and socially distant way can visit Northwest Early College High School in Canutillo on December 16 at 5 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. for a free short self-guided light show.
