Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson will have a campaign rally in New Mexico later this month.

The former New Mexico governor originally had a rally scheduled for Thursday at the Albuquerque Convention Center, but KOAT reported that the event was rescheduled to Aug. 20.

Campaign communications director Joe Hunter released the following statement to KOAT:

“We want to be sure the event is done right and provides the greatest opportunity for Gov. Johnson’s supporters to attend, and we encountered some logistical challenges that made Thursday’s rally difficult. By rescheduling to Aug. 20, we will be able to insure that the venue and timing are better for the best event possible.”
