EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14) — Starting Monday night, a portion of Interstate 10 in west El Paso will completely close as work continues on the Go 10 project.
One closure will take place from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning and again on Wednesday and Thursday.
I-10 west will be completely closed between Executive Center Boulevard and the Sunland Park Drive overpass.
I-10 east will be completely closed at Sunland Park Drive to Executive Center Boulevard.
During that time, both Sunland Park Drive entrance ramps will be closed, the Resler Drive entrance ramp to I-10 east and the Schuster/UTEP entrance ramp to I-10 west will be closed.
Crocket Street access to Paisano Drive will be closed.
Motorists will be detoured to North Mesa Street.
Crews will be working on the new U.S. 85 overpass and repairing potholes on I-10.
A separate set of closures are scheduled for Tuesday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.
I-10 westbound will be completely closed between Executive Center Boulevard and the Sunland Park Drive overpass.
The Sunland Park Drive entrance ramp to I-10 west will close along with the Schuster/UTEP entrance ramp to I-10 west.
Southbound Sunland Park Drive will close completely at Mesa Hills Drive, and northbound Sunland Park Drive will close before the overpass. Traffic approaching the overpass from Doniphan Drive will be diverted onto the Paisano Drive entrance ramp to I-10 eastbound.
