Emergency crews respond to water main break in Northeast El Paso

    Water main break reported in Northeast El Paso.

    The El Paso Fire Department confirms that a water line is broken in northeast El Paso Friday morning, flooding a busy roadway.

    A 20-inch water line broke just before 7 a.m. near Fred Wilson Road and Marshall Road.

    Police have Fred Wilson Road down to one lane and traffic is moving slowly through the area.

    El Paso Water said the line belongs to Fort Bliss Water. They do not have an estimated time of when the line will be fixed.

    EPW officials said they are assisting them.

    El Paso police and El Paso Fire are at the scene.
