El Paso woman sought by sheriff's deputies arrested

Belinda Meraz was charged with aggravated kidnapping.

A 26-year-old woman who was wanted by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office was arrested Wednesday.

Sheriff's officials said Belinda Meraz had an outstanding warrant for aggravated kidnapping, said EPCSO spokeswoman Leslie Antunez.

Investigators took her into custody on Wednesday at a business along the 2800 block of Gateway West Boulevard in central El Paso.

Officials did not release any other information regarding this case.
