An off-duty police officer with the El Paso Police Department was arrested for driving while intoxicated over the weekend.

Thomas Sneed, 38, was arrested on Saturday for his involvement in a drunken driving collision, said El Paso police.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of North Piedras Drive, less than 2 miles from El Paso police headquarters in central.

The investigation revealed that Sneed was driving a Dodge Ram north on Piedras Drive when he struck a parked vehicle.

Inside the park car was 34-year-old Israel Gallegos and 33-year-old Joseph Peterson, of El Paso, said police.

They said Gallegos and Peterson were not injured in the collision.

The passenger inside Sneed’s pickup truck was identified at Andrea Zendejas, 34.

She was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

Sneed and Zendejas had been featured in "Live PD." The reality shows airs on A&E and features various police departments throughout the U.S., including El Paso.

Officers found Sneed to be intoxicated. He was placed under arrest for DWI and booked into the El Paso County Jail.

Sneed is a 2 1/2-year veteran of the El Paso Police Department and has been placed on administrative duties while an administrative investigation is conducted.
