Authorities came up empty after a warrant execution turned into a SWAT situation Friday.

Authorities said they were executing a high-risk warrant around 10:30 a.m. at a home on the 300 block of Paloma Blanca Drive.

Authorities said they received information that the subject had access to firearms, and the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad deployed a robot to communicate with the barricaded subject.

Just before 5 p.m., a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office told KFOX14 that no one was inside the home.

The subject’s identity and information surrounding the warrant was not released.
