Craft beer festival, 915 Beerfest, happening Saturday


    915 BeerFest, is set to take place Saturday afternoon.

    Local radio station, 95.5 KLAQ FM, is partnering with DeadBeach Brewery to bring back El Paso’s only free admission- family friendly- craft beer festival to the streets to downtown.

    The festival is built as a fun day where people can enjoy the outdoors with an event space filled with live music entertainment, food trucks, an artist market, live art, as well as craft beer tasting for those of age.

    It happens on Durango Street outside of Deadbeach Brewery, and Overland.

    915 BeerFest features local breweries: Deadbeach Brewery, Blazing Tree Brewery, and El Paso Brewing Co. Regional breweries include: Bishop Cider Company (Texas), Community Brewing Company (Texas), Cigar City Brewing Company (Florida), Deep Ellum Brewing Company (Texas), Martin House Brewing Company (Texas), Oskar Blues (Colorado), Real Ale Brewery (Texas), Wilde Acre Brewing Company (Texas) and others. Each brewery will feature three of their personal favorite styles at the festival. Individual beer tastings from participating breweries will be available for purchase. Pours will be 2-3oz and sold in $2 increments, full beer pours available for $6.

    Additional entertainment includes fun with on-site games, as well as live art displays by local artists, an artist market featuring handmade goods by local artisans, and more.

    The food truck line-up for the festival includes the Deadbeach Food Truck, Double Trouble, Craze, Tropical Sno, Sabor Mexicano, The German Pub Food Truck, the Tap on Wheels, and the Panini Bus.
