ComSAR crews work mountain rescue in Northeast El Paso

The Combined Search and Rescue team with the El Paso Fire Department was deployed to assist in a mountain rescue at Chuck Heinrich Park Sunday afternoon, the fire department said in a tweet.

ComSAR crews were able to reach a hiker and her dog and provided medical treatment at 3:30 p.m. after having to dispatch several search crews to find the two. They were initially dispatched about 1:45 p.m., according to a tweet.
