Daniel David Ferris faces a murder charge in the death of Dante Naken Dewayne Long.

A 22-year-old California man was arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a Fort Bliss soldier at Union Plaza last month.

Daniel David Ferris, of Chino, California, was arrested Tuesday by U.S. Marshals and the Ontario Police Department on a homicide warrant.

Dante Naken Dewayne Long was stabbed during a fight between two groups on Sept. 23 at Union Plaza.

Long was taken to University Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

A week later, police released an image from a surveillance camera that shows a group of people who were wanted for questioning in connection with the deadly stabbing.
