Due to record-breaking cold temperatures, Delta Air Lines has used Twitter to issue travel waivers three times in the last 15 hours.

There is currently a travel waiver issued to the Southeast and mid-Atlantic for Wednesday and Thursday and one in the northeast for Thursday and Friday. All of the specific destinations affected are listed at the end of this article.

The travel waivers mean Delta will let you change your flight to anything scheduled by Jan. 7 without a fee. You can also fly after Jan. 7 and have the change fee waived, but you may have to pay the difference in fares.

Your third option is to cancel the trip and you will receive a voucher for the unused value of your original ticket, which can be used on another trip within a year.

According to CNN, more than 100 million people are under wind chill warnings or advisories and the National Weather Service says hard freeze warnings remain in effect through Wednesday from Texas to northern Florida.

Business insider is reporting that although “Delta was the first airline to offer reaccommodation due to the storm, other airlines will likely follow soon.”
