Three men were arrested after reports of suspicious activity in the parking lot of a west El Paso restaurant.

Nathan Ramos, 31, and Victor Munoz, 28, were each arrested on burglary of vehicle charge, police said. Luis Daniel Herrera, 31, was arrested on a cocaine possession charge.

On Tuesday around 9:30 a.m., police responded to the Cracker Barrel when a witness saw two men suspiciously pulling on car door handles in the restaurant’s parking lot, said police.

The witness told police they saw the men carrying a golf bag and a small cart toward the Red Roof Inn next door.

Police officials said undercover police tactical officers saw Ramos place the items into a vehicle. A man told officers the golf items had been stolen from his vehicle.

Police said that Ramos and Herrera drove away but were stopped by a patrol officer. Munoz was arrested at the hotel.

Herrera was allegedly in possession of cocaine and Munoz also faces drug possession charges for allegedly having less than two ounces of marijuana and a small amount of methamphetamine.

All three men were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.

Jail records show Ramos is being held without bond for a probation violation on a burglary of habitation case.

Munoz remained jailed Thursday on a $4,300 bond. Herrera was released Wednesday on a $5,000 bond.
