16-year-old El Paso teen publishes book

A 16-year-old teen from El Paso has published an anime fiction book.

The author is Thomas “Tommy” Dominguez III, a student at Faith Christian Academy.

Dorrance Publishing Co. published Dominguez's "A Fighter’s Will."

Dominguez said he was inspired by anime, an art style originating in Japan.

The book cover was designed by his sister, Mia Ilani Dominguez.

Thomas Dominguez III said the book is geared toward high school students and said the main character, Bryson, is a reflection of his past and current self in his search for passion.

“The reason I write is because it allows me to tell the stories I want, the way I want to tell them,” said Dominguez. “The main thing I want the readers to pick up from the book is to have a passionate will in whatever they want to do.”

Dominguez also enjoys working out, reading and traveling. He said he hopes to keep writing.

You can buy Dominguez book on Amazon, Barnes and Noble or at Dorrance Publishing Co.
