April is the birth month of the beloved late "Queen of Tejano" music Selena Quintanilla-Pérez and Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Montecillo is celebrating her life with a weekend full of events and movie parties from Friday through Sunday.

"Selena" movie parties begin at 7 p.m. Friday and continue through Sunday. The events feature singalongs, props and exclusive souvenir stickers (while supplies last).

In addition to screenings of her biopic, the "Anything For Selena" celebration will kick off at 6 p.m. Friday in the Glass Half Full Taproom with Selena-inspired art and merchandise on display and for sale. There will also be a Selena look-alike contest and dance party.

El Paso artist Jesus "Cimi" Alvarado will be painting a mural throughout the event. The mural will be decorated and available the rest of the weekend as a photo booth for fans.
