Texas-native Dustin Ybarra performs at El Paso Comic Strip
EL PASO, Texas —
Known for his roles on ABC’s “The Goldbergs” and CBS’s “Battle Creek,” comedian and actor Dustin Ybarra makes his way to the Borderland for this weekend’s shows at the El Paso Comic Strip.
Ybarra will be showcasing his jokes Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., as well as Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
In addition to his roles on network television, he has also made appearances in films such as “Ted 2,” “We Bought a Zoo,” “Date and Switch,” and “21 & Over.”
“It’s going to be a fun show. We’re going to be out at the Comic Strip all weekend,” Ybarra said.
He is currently working on a show called “Kevin Probably Saves the World,” which is about a down-on-his-luck man named Kevin Finn, who is tasked by God with a mission to save the world. It will be released in October.
Ybarra jokes that when he pulls his frizzy hair to the right side of his head, he looks like comedian Jack Black, and he does his best Jack Black impersonation. In light of President Donald Trump’s recent decision to send troops to the Borderland, Ybarra joked that he “came with the troops.”
He is no stranger to the Lone Star State, as he is from Bedford, just outside Fort Worth.
