Chills and thrills: Halloween attractions in El Paso and Las Cruces

It’s that time of year for all things Halloween and whether you want to be scared at a haunted house, get lost in a corn maze or carve pumpkins, the Borderland has you covered.

KFOX14 and CBS4 will also be holding their first ever Trick or Treat Town. The stations will be opening the doors to the public for a fun Halloween event on Oct. 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 200 Alto Mesa. There will be candy, games and prizes.


El Paso County Sheriff’s Office 8th Annual Haunted House

When: Oct. 13 and Oct. 14 from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Oct. 20 and Oct. 21 from 6 p.m .to 12 a.m.
Oct. 22 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Oct. 26 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Oct. 27 to Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Where: EPCSO headquarters at 3850 Justice Dr.

Tickets: $10 for adults, $8 for children 12 and under. Those who bring a can food donation will receive $1 off admission

KLAQ Haunted House: Area 52

When: Oct. 5 to Oct. 31 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursdays, 7 p.m. to midnight Friday, Saturday, Oct. 30, and Halloween night. Oct. 23 to Oct. 26 and Sundays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Hours may vary depending on attendance.

Where: Desert Warriors Paintball at 13900 Montana Ave.

Tickets: $12 for the haunted house.
Paintball experience only is $12.
$20 for both.

Terror Trail Haunted House and Zombie Adventure

When: Fridays and Saturdays from Sept. 29 through Halloween from 7:30 p.m. to midnight and Sundays from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: 401 Anthony Ave., Canutillo, Texas

Tickets: General Admission is $16 for the haunted house only.
Haunted House with R.I.P. pass is $24

Forbidden Acres Haunted House

When: Weekends beginning Oct. 6 through Halloween beginning at 7:30 p.m. to midnight.

Massacre on Marshall Road

When: Fridays and Saturdays in October from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Halloween night.

El Paso’s largest indoor Halloween carnival will be held on Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: El Paso County Coliseum at 4100 Paisano

Tickets: $5, $4 for children, free for ages 2 and younger. Advance tickets from any Junior Woman’s Club member are $3.

Boo at the Zoo
