Everyone (even Kelly Anne) can fly during an aerial fitness class

KFOX14 News Now anchor, Kelly Anne Beile, takes over as class instructor at the Academy of Aerial Fitness in west El Paso.

KFOX News Now anchor Kelly Anne Beile spent a morning at Academy of Aerial Fitness in west El Paso shadowing the president of the nonprofit, Karolyn Nevarez.

Nevarez created the organization to inspire people of all ages to turn to aerial fitness as a nontraditional way to explore creative movement and stay active. The academy's schedule of classes now includes everything from weekly lyra, straps, hammock, pole, parkour and various workshops. It also hosts special events in conjunction with other area artists. On Jan. 26, Bowie Bash will take place at Academy of Aerial Fitness.

When not in the studio, Nevarez and her staff can be seen performing their aerial acts throughout El Paso.
