Update: Silver Alert cancelled for 76-year-old east El Paso man

Update: Carlos Silva was found in good condition at 6:30 p.m. at a bus stop near Montwood High School.

EL PASO, Texas - The El Paso Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a missing 76-year-old man.

Police said Carlos Silva was last seen around 7:30 a.m. Friday at his home on Bunky Henry Lane off George Dieter in east El Paso.

He is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red fleece jacket, bright green polo shirt with green stripes, blown slacks and black tennis shoes.

Silva has various medical issues, including hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and depression, police said, and his medications were left behind.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police at 915-832-4400.
