Recall Alert: Razor, Frito-Lay and Atkins
Razor has issued a recall for its RipStik motorized caster boards because the rear wheel can lock up unexpectedly, posing an injury hazard.
The company has received 700 reports of the rear wheel locking up, resulting in four injuries, including one loose tooth, and three scrapes and bruises.
The boards have a hub motor and a lithium ion battery on the back and can go up to 10 mph. They are black and blue and were sold at stores nationwide for about $180.
Customers are asked to stop using the board and contact the company for a free repair kit at 866-467-2967.
Meanwhile, Request Foods Inc. has issued a recall for the Atkins Chicken with Cheese and Bean Burrito over a labeling issue.
About 30,537 pounds of burritos are affected by this recall. The company reports that the burritos were supposed to contain chicken, cheese and beans but actually have egg and sausage inside.
The company discovered the problem after it received a customer complaint. There have been no confirmed reports of anyone getting sick from the mislabeling.
They were sold at stores nationwide and have a “Best By” date of Dec. 19. They have an established number of P-17644 inside the USDA inspection mark.
Customers are asked not to eat the burritos, and to either throw them out or return them for a refund.

Finally, Frito-Lay announced a recall for some of its jalapeno-flavored chips over possible salmonella contamination.
