Laptops, eye wash solution recalled
Lenovo is recalling about 78, 000 ThinkPad X1 Carbon Laptops.
This recall involves 14 inch ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th Generation laptops. They were sold in silver and black. The product name “5 th Generation Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon,” the machine type 20HQ, 20HR, 20K3 or 20K4 and the serial number or S/N are printed on the bottom of the laptop. Laptops manufacture dates from 16/12 through 17/10 (for December 2016 through October 2017) are included in the recall. The manufacturing date codes can be found on the bottom of the laptop.
Consumers can visit the manufacturer's website for help in finding a repair and inspection center.
Fujitsu is recalling batter packs for Fujitsu Notebook Computers and Workstations due to fire and burn hazards. About 5,800 units in the U.S. are being recalled due to the lithium-ion battery packs possibly overheating, posing burn and fire hazards to consumers.
Consumers are advised to top using the recalled battery packs, power off the laptop, remove the battery and follow instructions of to get a free replacement.
Kareway Products, Inc is recalling 60,000 units of Gericare Eye Wash, Sterile Eye Irrigation Solution.
The product has been found to have potential microbial contamination.
