UTEP joins select group of universities committed to advancing education in innovation
EL PASO, Texas- University of Texas at El Paso was selected by the National Center for Engineering Pathways to Innovation (Epicenter), as one of 25 universities to take part in the Pathways to Innovation program.
The program is designed to help UTEP's faculty transform its undergraduate experience for engineering students by incorporating innovation and entrepreneurship.
The ultimate goal is to encourage students to take on global challenges and search for practical solutions.
The program will last two years as a team of faculty leaders assesses current programs and looks for ways to improve them.
