Teens armed with guns accused of robbing central El Paso resident

Two teens accused of robbing people inside a Central El Paso home were arrested over the weekend.

The incident happened around 1 p.m. Friday at a home on the 3300 block of Hamilton Avenue, police said.

Police said Isaac Martinez, 18, and Christopher Angel Ramirez, 19, entered the home with handguns, demanded money and threatened to use the weapons if the resident did not comply with their demands, police said.

The teens left with $1,000 cash and fled from three victims who live at the home, police said.

Warrants were issued for the arrest of the teens, and they were booked into the county jail Saturday morning.

Martinez faces three counts of aggravated robbery and his bond was set at $225,000.

Ramirez faces one count of aggravated robbery and his bond was set at $75,000.
