Bystander grazed by bullet during fight outside east El Paso bar

A man was grazed by a bullet during a shooting that happened outside an eastside El Paso bar early Wednesday morning.

Police said officers responded to a shots-fired call in the parking lot of 1441 N. Zaragoza Road around 1:30 a.m.

The address listed is that of La Diabla Bar.

A fight broke out between two groups of people and one of the suspects involved pulled out a gun and fired several rounds, according to police.

The victim, who police say was not with either group involved in the fight, was grazed in the head by one of the rounds.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made in this case. The El Paso Police Department’s Gang Unit was called to assist with the investigation.
