Coaches and players who will play in the Hyundai Sun Bowl arrived in El Paso on Christmas Day to the sounds of mariachis and cheers.

Arizona State arrived first and was greeted by members of the Sun Court, El Pasoans and folklorico dancers.

Arizona’s head coach, Todd Graham, danced with a folklorico dancer as his team cheered him on.

North Carolina State landed by 4 p.m., after a flight delay.

It also received an El Paso welcome as mariachis and folklorico dancers met the coaches and players at the airport hangar.

The two teams will play in the Hyundai Sun Bowl on Friday at 1 p.m. The game will air on our sister station CBS4 Local.
