Some school districts are cancelling its after school programs or moving them indoors. Here's a list of schools KFOX14/CBS4 has heard from.
El Paso ISD: "Because of the weather conditions in the region, outdoor after-school activities in EPISD will be either canceled or brought indoors. Indoor activities will be allowed to continue as scheduled. Please check your school for any potential changes to their schedule. "
Ysleta ISD: "Due to inclement weather and potential hazardous driving conditions, all after-school activities have been canceled for today, December 7, 2017."
Socorro ISD: "Due to the anticipated freeze this evening, evening extra-curricular activities have been cancelled for today, Thursday, December 7, 2017. The WIN Academy and tutoring will continue as scheduled. We will continue monitoring the weather and assessing driving conditions throughout the evening and early morning. If conditions worsen or become unsafe for the transportation of students to and from school, the decision may be made to change tomorrow’s school schedule. As more information is available, we will provide updates via the district website at www.sisd.net, phone messages, social media, the news media and/or from the District Service Center."
