Looking for something to do over the Labor Day weekend?

The 27th annual Minerpalooza events takes place Sept. 1. The family friendly event will have live bands, food and a beer and wine garden. Pete's Playground will be set up with inflatables and games. The event is from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will be set up near the Sun Bowl.

Next, the Sun City Music Festival happens every year over Labor Day weekend. It's an electronic music festival at Ascarate Park on Sept. 2 and 3. Prices start at approximately $90 for an all day pass.

If neither of the above interest you, the fairgrounds in Las Cruces will host the annual Harvest Wine Festival. The event includes 17 of New Mexico's wineries, along with food trucks, local artisans and live music. Tickets range from $5 to $20. The Harvest Wine Festival takes place Sept. 2 through Sept. 3 from noon to 6 p.m. daily.
