Man sentenced to 10 years for meth trafficking
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
A 35-year-old man plead guilty to meth trafficking and was sentenced to 10 years in prison Thursday.
Jose Angel Sanchez was arrested on Dec. 2, 2016, after he was found in possession of about 229.5 grams of methamphetamine that he intended to distribute in Doña Ana County, authorities said.
Court documents showed that Sanchez was on supervised release from a prior federal drug trafficking conviction when he was arrested for the drug possession.
Sanchez admitted that he intended to sell the meth to other people and that he failed to comply with the conditions of his supervised release by committing a crime again.
