Scoop on Savings – National Record Store Day

Mother of Pearl Vinyl in west El Paso has many tunes to offer customers.

Saturday, April 22, is National Record Store Day.

As we’ve seen, vinyl is making a huge comeback in the music industry.

Mother of Pearl Vinyl in west El Paso’s trendy Monticello shopping center is one of your local vinyl meccas, with a store filled with some of your favorite tunes.

They’re offering discounted vinyl on Saturday, and multiple grab-bag giveaways.

The giveaways will include about 10 to 15 records.

Mother of Pearl Vinyl will be open regular hours, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Another local favorite vinyl store is All That Music & Video.

They have a sale on all their vinyl, and will carry titles exclusive to independent record stores on National Record Store Day.

Every hour, on the hour, they’ll also hold drawings for prizes.

Doors open at 9 a.m., with controlled access at 10. Vinyls will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

No advance requests or holds will be accepted.
