Center for Children has helped four generations of El Pasoans
The El Paso Center for Children can trace its origins back to 1919.
For almost 100 years, it's been a place that has offered hope and care to children and families in times of need.
Next month, the center celebrates the 30th anniversary and grand re-opening of its emergency youth shelter.
The center will celebrate by inviting the public to take part in a cookout at the center on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 6 pm.
"It's a way for the public to get to know us and get to know about the work we're doing here," said CEO Beth Senger.
KFOX14's Robert Holguin sat down with Senger to talk about the work being done as the center starts planning for the next 100 years.
