Students at Henderson Middle School visited by local boxer and a celebrity's daughter
EL PASO, Texas - El Paso boxer David Rodriguez and Kerri Kasem, daughter of Casey Kasem, gave an anti-bullying presentation Wednesday morning at Henderson Middle School.
The campaign Rodriguez and Kerri Kasem have put together is not only for kids, but also for the elderly.
They both told students they dealt with bullying growing up and now hope to make a difference for future generations.
"What we try to stress and get across to the kids is find an outlet, find somebody to talk to, and really work on your passions and speak to somebody, a counselor, anybody about the problem you are facing in school or whatever it may be," said Rodriguez.
The two were at an El Paso Chihuahuas game Tuesday, promoting the campaign.
